Got my new iMac last Friday. About bloody time too. The guy at the NextByte store was a total douchebag. The reason I bought the mac from the place that I did was because they were offering a "$100 Credit on RAM Upgrades". So when I went to pick the iMac up (had ordered it a fortnight beforehand) the salesman said that I didn't get the $100 credit because I was buying the mac with the educaion discount. Spewin! I told the salesman that the guy I dealt with when I ordered the mac said I could get a credit regardless of education discount. So he dissapears, yells at a junior salesperson and then he comes back with a $50 gift voucher. I let the fact that it was only $50 slide, I just wanted to get the hell outta there and get the computer crankin. So I pay for it, and as I'm walking out I notice that the saleman didn't include the gift voucher in the transaction. I went back and ponited it out and he replies with a loud "FUCK!". He dissapears, comes back, refunds the $50 to my account and I leave.

Moral of the story is, the guy was a wanker (and rude tothe customers before me) and god knows how he got to become "Senior Accounts Manager". So be wary next time you go shopping at NexyByte for an iPod or whatever.
